PDF - Clearance

A Player currently registered with a Hockey SA Metropolitan Competition Club or Regional/Interstate Club, must obtain a clearance prior to moving to another Club.

The form must be complete with all three sections signed by all parties before processing by Hockey SA.

In accordance with Hockey Metropolitan Competition Rule 2.2.1 playing a player without a completed clearance will result in a $250 fine per match the player took part in (additional rules may apply, refer to the Hockey SA Metropolitan Competition Rules for further clarification).

The player completes their information and passes the form to the new club. The relevant sections of the form are then completed by the new club and sent to the previous club and cc’d to operations@hockeysa.com.au

The previous club completes the required information and returns to new club and Hockey SA. If however the previous club are denying the permit based on owed fees the two clubs will need to coordinate with the player on making payment or disputing the denial.

If a solution can not be reached by both parties it then progresses to a hearing with the commissioner in accordance with the Metropolitan Competition Rules.
