Award Recipients

The ‘Claxton Medal’, for the up and coming girl: and
The ‘Jack Nobbs Medal’ for the up and coming boy.

ATTRIBUTES of the recipients need to TICK ALL THE BOXES:

1.       Attitude;
2.       Commitment, and effort. (at training and match day);
3.       Team player (someone who plays for their team mates and the club first);
4.       Improvement (both on and off the pitch, have they improved their skills?  Have they grown as a player with their attitude and understanding of the game and what it means to be a team player?); and
5.       Skills and ability

·         to be worthy of the medals the Junior Player MUST tick all the boxes above.
·         State selection and playing in multiple teams has no weight with regards to the players eligibility for these two medals.
·         For this reason it may well mean that we don’t hand these medals out every season; if there isn’t a kid that ticks all the boxes, we talk about the medals and encourage them to aim for it next season.
